A renowned private hospital required technical advisory towards the appointment of an Operations and Management partner to oversee its newly built 100-bed multi-specialist hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. The new hospital was designed to expand access and availability of high quality clinical and diagnostic services to patients across socioeconomic classes.

Vesta Healthcare Partners came on board to provide necessary advisory, support the execution of Pre-Commissioning activities and will also provide Post-Commissioning Support when an Operator is appointed and the hospital begins operations.

We evaluated the project at the time of commencement of our work with the client, and subsequently continued to assess its progress in order to highlight opportunities for resource optimization. We developed an Outline Strategic Business Case containing essential information on the healthcare market.

This project is still ongoing, and so far, we have also provided insights in the development and review of the Financial Model by the client’s Financial Adviser, offered extensive advisory services on commercial and operational strategy for the new hospital and developed a suite of Key Performance Indicators for evaluating the Operations and Management Partner.
