A leading private equity firm operating in Lagos, with diversified investments across several sectors and economies in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa was seeking to make new investments in the Nigerian Health Sector and required a general overview of that market, with particular interest in core segments such as healthcare delivery, pharmaceuticals, training/consulting and equipment supply. The project also involved an assessment of the viability and attractiveness of each healthcare delivery segment to identify a suitable target healthcare asset.

Over a 9-month period, we completed a comprehensive assessment of the Nigerian Healthcare Market covering Market Size, Segmentation and Forecast, Business Operating Environment, Demographic and Epidemiological Trends, Consumer Behavior, Demand and Supply, Innovation and Technology.

We assessed the viability and attractiveness of various healthcare delivery segment strategies and developed an investment strategy for a healthcare asset acquisition. We also conducted a Deep Dive Analysis on all clinical and non-clinical aspects of the target investment asset, thereby arming the client with ample data-driven information with which to make the most profitable decision.
