A leading private Women and Children’s Hospital in Lagos required the services of Vesta healthcare Partners to organize, develop, plan and manage the process of securing Expansion and Growth Capital in the form of either equity investment or debt capital into the business.
Our engagement commenced with a comprehensive Vesta Due Diligence Assessment of the entire business including staff interviews, a Patient Satisfaction Survey and rigorous analysis of the company’s accounts. A comprehensive Prospectus and Investment Memorandum was developed and presented to selected offshore investors for presentation to their various Investment Committees, for the purpose of securing Growth Capital.
Over a 37-month period, we meticulously developed a Financial Model to highlight the cash flow forecasts, viability and profitability of the client, and defined key elements such as Industry Overview, Key market metrics, Value chain analysis, Profitability and trends, Hospital business models, Risk Pooling opportunities, as well as International Case studies.
We also assessed company accounts and business processes, evaluated external influential factors – the industry, competitors, and the macro-economy, then went on to create a Business case document, Key-man insurance and Bill of Quantities. These provided ample data which positioned the client to gain clear understanding of where the business was, while charting a course towards their desired financial goals.
