Dr Niyi Ade-Ajayi MBBS MPhil FRCS (I) FRCS (Paed) joined Vesta Healthcare Partners in 2008 because he shares the firm’s vision to help deliver critical improvements in healthcare infrastructure and personnel training in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Dr Ade-Ajayi studied medicine at the University of Lagos, and pursued further education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College London, England. He received his training in General and Paediatric Surgery in Ireland and the United Kingdom, including the world-famous Great Ormond Street Hospital where he was Locum Consultant Surgeon. Dr Ade-Ajayi is a member of the International Affairs Committee of British Association of Paediatric Surgeons and a member of the Executive Committee of Pan-African Association of Paediatric Surgeons. Dr Ade-Ajayi is currently a consultant paediatric surgeon in the UK.
At Vesta, Dr Ade-Ajayi is responsible for strategy and business development with particular emphasis on education and training. He has received several awards including Research Awards from the British (2006), Canadian (2006) and Pan African (2008) Paediatric Surgery Associations.
