Dr Efunbo Dosekun MBBS MSc MRCPCH is one of the founding Partners of Vesta and is directly responsible for capacity building and all training programmes.  She joined Vesta to impart the skills, knowledge and experience she has acquired both locally and internationally, to health professionals in low-income economies thereby facilitating significant development in such healthcare systems.

Dr Dosekun studied Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Lagos and other prestigious institutions in the United Kingdom including University College London, University of Hull, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Institute of Child Health. She has also worked in various London hospitals specialising in aspects of acute paediatrics, community paediatrics, neonatology and neuro-disability.

Prior to joining Vesta Healthcare Partners, Dr. Dosekun was a Consultant Paediatrician at Lifeline Children’s Hospital, Lagos, where she still serves as Joint Executive Medical Director. In addition, she is Executive Assistant Secretary of the International Hospital Federation (Nigerian Chapter); a Senior Fellow of both the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (affiliated with Aspen Institute Colorado) and the Henry Crown Institute, as well as a member of the Technical Committee on Continuing Professional Development, Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

She has received several awards including a Certificate of Merit from the Department of Paediatrics, Lagos University Teaching Hospital and the Jane Kilpatrick Gold Medal.
